The Yale men s track and field team finished the first day of competition at the Penn Relays on Thursday. Many athletes had their best performances of the season at this meet and others placed very highly among a large field of talented runners. The Bulldogs raced in two distinct events, the 5,000-meter run and the 3,000-meter steeplechase, but there were three different 5,000-meter races that were scored separately.
