The Bulldogs opened the 2013-14 indoor track season on Saturday with the 2013 Yale Season Opener, held in Coxe Cage. The meet provided an opportunity for the team s members to evaluate their strengths going into the season. Many members took on more than their usual events, while newcomers had the chance to compete in unfamiliar events. The day resulted in many successful efforts, included seven first-place finishes by five Bulldogs. Moreover, the meet was marked by several events in which competitors finished nearby one another—a promising sign for the team s collective force entering the indoor season.
