The Yale women s track and field had arguably its best meet of the season Friday night at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. The meet featured some very tough competition from around the country, including elite runners sponsored by companies like Brooks, Nike and Saucony, just to name a few. As the last contest before the Heptagonal Championships, the Valentine Invitational came at a perfect time for the Bulldogs. A total of eleven women qualified for the ECAC championships last night, and the many new personal bests last night bode very well for more great performances to come.
