The Yale men’s track and field team is set to kick off its indoor campaign this Saturday when it hosts the Yale Season Opener at Coxe Cage. The unscored meet pits the Bulldogs against cross-town rivals Southern Connecticut State University and University of New Haven along with other area schools and offers athletes a chance to gauge their form in the early going. Though the Elis lost several standout runners to graduation last spring, the team’s core returns with the goal of continuing to climb in the league and regional rankings.
