The Yale men s cross country team will make the trip to Princeton, N.J., for the always exciting Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, slated for this Saturday. The Bulldogs will enter the meet with high expectations, after finishing fifth at last year s meet (the team s best Heps performance since 2006), nearly upsetting then-nationally-ranked Princeton in their 2014 season opener and finishing as the top Ivy League team at the Paul Short Invitational in early October. This year s meet has the potential to be especially competitive, as none of the eight Ivy schools are currently ranked in the national USTFCCCA top 30 (unlike 2013, when Columbia, Harvard and Princeton were all ranked).
