This Saturday, the Yale women s cross country team will compete at the Virginia Panorama Farms Invitational in Earlysville, Va. The UVA meet is a new one for the Bulldogs. The field includes 157 athletes representing High Point, Liberty, Mississippi State, Morehead State, the University of Oklahoma, Radford, the University of Virginia and Wake Forest. Virginia presents the greatest challenge, as the team is currently ranked No. 16 nationally. In contrast to the course at Van Cortlandt Park, the 6k course at Panorama Farms is laid out on rolling grass fields. This makes it possible for the Bulldogs to chase down personal-best times this weekend.
