The Yale women s cross country team competed at the New England Championships on Saturday. Despite resting many of the quickest athletes on the team, the Bulldogs placed third in both the varsity and junior varsity race. Furthermore many runners set personal bests and demonstrated impressive gains over the past month since they last ran this course against Harvard and Princeton. Boston College won the meet and Quinnipiac placed second, but the Bulldogs beat Ivy League rivals Brown (seventh), Dartmouth (ninth) and Harvard (21st).
