The Yale women s cross country team will compete at the 21st annual Brother John Paddy” Doyle Iona College Meet of Champions this coming Saturday. The meet is hosted on the 6k course at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Thus, it serves as an opportunity for the team to race on the course that will be the site of the 2015 Heptagonal Championships on Oct. 30. This experience will prove important for athletes unaccustomed to Van Cortlandt Park, as the nearly century-old course weaves through hilly woods that can prove challenging.
